The "gym side" play area features a wide
assortment of
toddler & preschool oriented toys geared for gross motor development
|
|
|
Breast-feeding and bottle-feeding of babies
is permitted on the
couches. Snacking
is permitted
in the snack room.
|
|
We stock a wide
variety of craft materials ranging from
basic homemade (always fresh) play-doh
to "googly eyes" and "glitter
glue".
Join us for Arts and Crafts every
Monday and Tuesday. Our committee members are always coming
up with fun and innovative ideas for the little ones! |

Toddlers and Preschoolers
alike never tire of imitative play; Our Playgroup offers a "virtual" grocery store, kitchen,
tool/workbench area, truck stop, dress-up clothes, and much, much more.

Security
Door
Playgroup members, with the exception of the duty
person, are asked to enter the door on the south
end of the school.
To gain access to the school, you must buzz
the playgroup and provide your name and committee.
That
person then checks the list of members provided
and opens the door by depressing the button.
Emergency
Evacuation
In the event of a fire, drill, or other
emergency, please leave the building quickly and
calmly by exiting up the stairs and out the
entrance door. Firemen will be looking for
us there. If that exit is blocked off,
please exit by the other set of stairs by the
daycare, and out the main entrance to the
school. The duty person must bring the
sign-in book outside and perform a head count to
correspond with the book.
Sink
and Toilets
Playgroup
members may use any of the three sinks located in
Playgroup for clean-up. Our
washroom is located in the hallway. Wipes,
paper towels, hand-sanitizer and cleaners are provided by the
playgroup for clean up.
